Company History     2007: Exhibited at "EAST CHINA FAIR" in Shanghai during Mar. 1~6. 2006: The 3rd new factory "BMAN Manufacturing (ZheJiang)Co., Ltd. set up in Nov 5, 2006. 2006: Exhibited at Chinese Export Commodities Fair in GuangZhou during Oct 25~30. 2006: Exhibited at Tokyo International Gift Show in Tokyo, Japan during Sep. 5~8. 2004: Began attending “China Sourcing Fair” in Shanghai. 2003: Began producing BBQ products. 2002: Began attending "EAST CHINA FAIR" in Shanghai. 2001: Began producing Double Injection Knife. 2001: Began producing Stainless Steel Forge Hollow Handle Knife. 2001: Began producing One-Piece Stainless Steel Fully Forge Knife. 2001: Began opening mold by CNC machine in our factory. 2000: Began developing Domestic Market in China. 2000: Pass ISO9001 certificated. 2000: Established Shanghai Aman Kitchenware Co., Ltd. in China. 2000: Established Showroom in Aman Kitchenware Co., Ltd. in China. 1999: Set-up joint-ventured Aman International Group Ltd. with Oman Cutlery in Hong Kong. 1998: Established Overseas Trading Department. 1998: Completed the new plant in Taiwan. 1996: Set-up joint-ventured Arabin Group Ltd. with Oman Cutlery in Hong Kong. 1994: Established R&D Department. 1993: Established Shanghai Oman Manufacturing Co., Ltd. in China. 1992: Began producing Stainless Steel Hollow Handle Knife and getting the pattern. 1990: Developed Kitchen Knife producing line and began producing Stainless Stainless Steel Forge Knife. 1980: Established Oman Cutlery Co.,Ltd. of making household and industry scissors.

R&D     Oman's R&D is conducted in-house design with a team (15 staff) of professional and experienced engineers. The expertise of R&D is product designing, mold development and mass production skills. Oman's R&D team is capable of designing product future, function, and material used. The team uses latest market information to develop new designs for different market's need. Various materials such as POM, wood, ceramic, plastic are designed in to diversify product futures. Oman leveraged CAD/CAM in housing design to speed up the product developing cycle and engineering changes process. R&D department is equipped with 3D workstation, mock-up machine, CNC (Computer Numerical Control) and EDM (Electron Discharge machining) machine. Once receiving the drawings or samples from sales department, engineers use 3D workstation to generate digital data. The mockup machine makes the physical model from digital data in hours instead of days. After the model sample is approved, engineers are able to open molds by CNC and EDM machine. Oman's R&D knows how to make affordable production as result of mass production technique with cost effective. Due to having flexible production equipment, Oman is able to take not only large volume order, but also small amount orders. Therefore, the clients could benefit greatly from Oman's efforts. The entire developing processes are divided into 4 stages, concept, planning, developing, and manufacturing. It takes 30 to 60 days for a new product to release. Prior to products release, project manager track and control the processes to ensure every thing is fine. When a project is drifting off-plan, PMs can bring the project back on track by taking corrective action.

Quality Control     According to the ISO9001 standards, our quality system including R&D, purchase material quality assurance, product process control, final testing and outgoing quality audit. The quality control operations of our company are partially handled by our own QC team and with the help of some subcontracted companies. Our QC team is composed of experienced engineers and production staff who are trained to perform QC inspections. We provide them with useful and practical training programs to update quality system. Since 1998, we leverages our core competences with industrial standards ISO8442-1 for all products. We developed a series of test machines to be capable of ISO8442-1. The major testing we have been engaged is hardness of knife blade test, dishwasher test, strength test, resistance to dropping test, corrosion test, puller test and more.

OEM/ODM     Our major 50% business is OEM business. Our major OEM market is located in Europe, United States and Australia. With 10 years of OEM experiences, we become a professional OEM manufacturer. Advanced machineries are utilized in our product designing, cutting, molding, polishing, etching and the finished products. It fully takes advantage of current facilities to develop new products without additional investment. We also continues to invest on state of the art equipments so that Oman's capacity can be reserved for customer future's need. The more important, the quality is improving while the prices remain unchanged or even lower. Life time warranty is guaranteed to our customer against faulty construction. The most important material part of knife is its blade. The blade materials we using are imported from Japan, Span and Germany only.
